Final Thoughts
This year has definitely been challenging. I’ve never put this much effort into an english class before, but it was totally worth it. Overall I feel like I learned a lot and understand better why knowing how to make an argument is so important. I liked how our assignments bridged into different mediums. Although more work was required in order to make our arguments happen, when you use different mediums, like websites, you can propose your argument in a way that can be more effective than a traditional essay. Anyways, I also liked how we had a final project instead of a traditional final exam. It gave us time to work hard on our projects before finals week, which freed up time for us to study for other finals. I can see why even engineering majors are required to take this class, because there is a lot more to it than one may originally think. bye everyone
Posts
Does anyone know how to check if we did all of our posts? I think I did, but knowing me I forgot one. Just curious if there’s a way to check. Good luck on finals everyone!
A Final Post
For the final project, I like how we had to expand our boundaries and go beyond the normal paper writing. I was always curious about how hard it is to make a website and I now know. Although I made a blog, it is very similar to a website with most of its components. I found that it takes a decent amount of effort to get the site looking nice and tidy. I had to keep modifying little details to make it look exactly how I wanted. Although this was a little time consuming I was very proud of my end result. With this experience, I may try to make a website or something down the line for a project in class. Who knows though. Overall, I had a great time with this project and with this class. Thanks Ms. Ludeker for all the help throughout the semester and for the useful information you taught me. I know it will be utilized in the future. Everyone enjoy their summer and good luck on finals.
Final Thoughts
This past semester in English 106 was an overall good experience for me. I enjoyed learning different types of argument and being able to research a topic of interest in great detail. I feel with all of our writing assignments and the help from Ms. Ludeker I have grown as a writer. I wish everyone the best of luck with the rest of their college careers, Ms. Ludeker’s future endeavors, and hope everyone has a happy summer. God Bless.
Final Thoughts
I feel pretty good about this class, looking back on it. I feel like I learned how to make stronger, more organized arguments. Rhetoric is clearly an important skill, and this class was a good introduction to how good arguments are made. Granted we did not go very far in depth of analyzing arguments, but this class did get us started thinking about the value of arguments. Good luck to everyone as we go our separate ways!
Final Project
I’m really glad that Tuesday and Wednesday of our last week we had the time to critique each other’s project. I found it very helpful, not only having people look at my project but being able to look at other projects and seeing what they were doing. I ended up switching what web site i used to create my project because of this, so I’m very thankful for the time we had in class this last week.
The Class Overall
Over the course of the semester, I enjoyed this English class. Even though it was at 8:30 in the morning, which I was a little worried about, I still enjoyed it. All the activities and projects we did were all closely related and relevant to what Ms. Ludeker was teaching us. The projects that were chosen were also good. My favorites were definately the website and the magazine article. i really liked the magazine article because I like telling stories about myself. The fact that were able to put our own pictures on there was also a big plus. Overall, I really enjoyed the class
