Questions for Presentations
As you present your projects to one another this week, I’d like you to make some useful comments for the presenters that can be applied to.revisions. I’ll be handing out some paper on which I’d like to you answer (in constructive detail) these questions
- What is the project’s theme (rebuttal or proposal)? Is it successful in meeting the criteria of that genre?
- What multi-media is used? Is it appropriate for the theme and the arguments presented? If not, why not?
- What is the author’s purpose? If it isn’t clear, try to explain why.
- Who is the intended audience? If it isn’t clear, try to explain why.
- Offer some comments about the written text. Is it organized? Is it well-structured?
- Is research used as support? If not, where should it go and why?
- Offer some comments about the images and design of the project. Is it well-designed and easy to follow/understand? Are the images appropriate to the project?
- How is work cited? Is it clear what should be cited? Do hyperlinks work?
- What is working well in the project? What do you think is done well and why?
- What needs improvement? Why? Please offer something constructive
- What questions do you have after viewing the project (what are you left wondering about)?
- What overall comments do you have about the project?
