Project 4

I am super excited about our upcoming project. I think creating a game or video will be tons of fun. At this time in the school year, I think we all need something different in our homework schedule. The only problem I will have is finding 5 new sources, and learning how to create a game or a video. In the end this will be fun and very creative!

Sears removes Bennton’s clothing

Hey guys, I wanted to find more information about Bennton’s clothing line, and I find out this;

“Sears, Roebuck and Co. terminated its contract with the trendy Benetton clothing company Wednesday under pressure from victims’ rights groups who objected to the Italian company’s ad campaign featuring death row inmates” from this website- http://www.prodeathpenalty.com/Sears.htm.

I find in intriguing that still today Bennton is putting out controversery advirtisements. Personally I think they are a sick company, and I do not understand why these advirtisements would be motivating to go purchase their clothes. In the article the people felt the inmates were “glorified” and the victims were being downgraded and ignored. Its a very interesting article. I urge you guys to check it out.

Evaluation paper vs. Rebuttal paper

Okay, I now understand what are evaluation paper should establish and how we should incorporate ethos,pathos and logos into it. But I am having difficulty with the fact that our next project is the rebuttal/argument paper. If any one has any advice on how to differentiate between the two, please help. I am worried that I will not have enough information or new ideas to create a whole new paper. Also I was wondering if any of you new if our second rough draft is due Friday or Sunday? Thanks guys!
