Benneton

They say that every picture is worth a thousand words and I think that the images for the ads for Benneton are worth a thousand words. They are graphic, and interesting yet disturbing. I thought that the images weren’t a very good way to advertise clothes. Also, the images seemed misplaced. If I were to not have any knowledge about The United Colors of Benneton, I would never guess that it was a clothing company. I found out that pictures really say and mean a lot.

evaluation and rebuttal

In class, I have recalled what we knew about the evaluation argument. I thought that it was good because I forgot some of it. we went over what kind of arguments affect logos, pathos, and ethos. I learned that the rebuttal argument is arguing what we should do, should think, and/or must do; and an evaluation argument is making a judgement on something.
