Rebuttal

As I work on this final project, I believe that this project is easier than any paper we have written this semester. One, I’m not that good at writing papers; and two, I don’t like writing papers. So this project, to me is a lot easier than writing a typical paper. The one disadvantage about it is that I have realized it is taking a lot more time than a paper would take me to write due to buidling my website and all the time that goes into that, plus all the time it takes to research. I also like this project because it is a little more fun than writing a paper.

Another Beneton Comment

The pictures that the United Colors of Beneton use for advertising their clothes are very different. Their ads are far out of the norm for clothing companies. Like otheres have said before, I would have never known they were for a clothing company at all. The one called “Olympic Rings,” and had all the colorful condoms, if I didn’t know what The United Colors of Beneton was, I would probably think it was a condom brand that sold colorful condoms.
I don’t like the advertisements much at all, but if it works for them and they’re selling clothes, then I guess go for it. It’s shocking and must work for some people, but I’m guessing they would have more sales had they gone with the normal clothing advertisements.

Wednesday’s Lecture

I thought it was good to review a little bit on wednesday. Coming back after a week off was rough but the review was good and it gave us some new information. The examples we used with the diagram also were helpful.
